Stonking!

We went again to Westerly BMW Yeovil today so that Mrs B could drive the i3 – it is going to be her car after all.  And in the showroom was this gorgeous M4 Competition.  I know that we're going "green" with an electric car, and this sort of gas guzzler is not in the spirit of how we're going to act with regard to personal transport . . . but it did look very inviting, despite the £44k price tag (BMW Approved Used, not new).

Did the prospective owner of an electric BMW like it?  Not much.  It drove beautifully, if a little strangely, but the aesthetics of the interior did not suit Mrs B.  However, we haven't specified the brown leather or dark wood or black wheels that were in the demonstrator; and with the salesman's help, using the visualiser in the showroom, I showed Mrs B the car that will be ours and salvage the purchase.  I think.
