Celestial Headpiece

I made this for a friend. She had been admiring one which cost £450, so I made her one that cost the price of the hat pins from eBay, around £5. I improvised of course - the original didn’t have googly eyes!

In other news, I was at another friend’s funeral today. David Laidlaw. Known him for 30 years, but his health had been failing over the last few years. I worked with him in Real Foods and shared a flat with him and his partner in Alva Street. It was lovely to hear the things I didn’t know about him. There was a Donna Summer song, of course. Bumped into another old Real Foods person there, now Councillor Rob Munn, so we caught up on each other’s news. Glad I took the evening off work though. Feeling a little tearful.
