Clouds

The clouds this morning were interesting. This evening on our walk it was mainly grey skies. B and I took Pierce across the farm fields. We hoped to see a barn owl but no luck. We did see the heron foraging in the grass, I wonder what it could have been looking for, maybe worms I suppose. We also saw a herd of fallow deer, there were nine. This morning I saw a green woodpecker. I cooked some supper for us. We had corned beef fritters with peppers and onions. Not the original plan but I had run out of pasta ;-)
