Croome

A visit to our local NT estate just over the county border in Worcestershire. It was far less busy than our family visit on New Year’s Day.

The landscaping by Lancelot “Capability” Brown is well worth seeing. The sound of traffic on the M5, however, was surprisingly loud and made it hard to hear the song thrushes. We also saw a heron stone still among a herd of cows.

This afternoon we started assembling the seed tray staging for the greenhouse.
