Facing the void

Parenting... it sometimes requires an ability to keep ones nerve while staring into the abyss.... 

Today was an interesting day. Finn still breaking speed records in positivity testing but quite alert physically. Quite alert indeed. 
Mimi on the other hand not feeling well at all, with a rather high burst of fever around 2pm. And testing negative (!) on the antigen test. GP was surprisingly efficient and she was booked for a PCR test mid afternoon. Result sometime tomorrow. It is 95% sure that she has covid but I am waiting for a positive test before we can isolate these two together. 
Luca is the one who might escape it. He is vaccinated and was boosted last month and he has a natural ability for keeping his distance from the other noisy two. 
Today I delivered two meal services straight to the bedroom doors of the different isolation cells. 
Mrs Raheny is feeling a bit under the weather (two nights spent sleeping with Mimi would not drastically improve her chances...) 
I do not have any symptoms yet. Went for a spot of saline therapy in the harbour after work. Apparently germs do not thrive in cold sea water...
