Took this shot of the animals while they kept me company while I was working… that was it.

I try very hard to be sympathetic but they don’t generate much empathy do They?

We had just moved into our offices - there were no gates and in the second week - trailers, caravans, land rovers - all Parked at the rear of our building.

The gates were closed by the landlord and I was subjected to a torrent of abuse over the phone by one of the car drivers.

They knocked a fence down and drove their cars through the hedging.

The children repeated came to the door to ask what we did in the building; what was in the warehouse, could they use the toilet. All wearing designer names.

The landlord got an eviction notice and when they left they were shouting that there hadn’t been a problem- they had kept themselves to themselves and kept the pitch tidy.

Not entirely true

After they left we walked to the end of the building and there was stacks of rubbish heaped up - including sanitary towels, dirty toilet paper, wasted food.

And in the grass where the vans had sat the actual shit they had done at the back of their homes.
