The Chimney

I've wanted to take a photo of this chimney for ages, and I finally had a good view of it. Not sure why I like it so much, maybe  because it's different from any others in the area.  It's hard to see it through the trees and bushes in front of it, but most of them are bare or flattened by the recent snow, so I took advantage of that. I was pleased that the smoke coming out the chimney was visible too, and there's still mist in the background.
Read on the weather site this morning that "British Columbia has seen a decade’s worth of active weather in the past year, so any sign of a calm pattern is always welcome news. Sometimes, though, that calm isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. A large blocking pattern setting up in the atmosphere over the West Coast will keep things stagnant across much of B.C. this week. The pattern could lead to another round of repetitive fog across the Lower Mainland."  Hmmm - more mist/fog in the near future then, by the sounds of it. Today was a beautiful sunny day, just a bit windy.
