The One, the Only

Our front yard is alive with critters - flying and otherwise, but the minute I walk out the front door with my camera around my neck they all disappear.

This is a native mud wasp - nasty bite, but if you don't mess with them, they don't mess with you.  The minute I snapped this quickie, it flew off, never to be seen again.
