This is just one of the birds spotted from my sewing table today, whilst I was playing with an applique.

I will miss being able to see the bird feeders and the garden - the room we have decided to devote to "studio" type function will be upstairs.  But the house we are buying is on a hill, so instead, I will have a long view, towards hills, and across towards Waterford.  I'm told I should be able to see the Thomas Francis Meagher bridge, as seen in the extra here.  

And we'll put bird feeders in the front garden, so that when I am sitting at my desk, blipping, I'll be able to see the visitors - at the moment, all I can see is our front yard and the wheelie bins!
