All that jazz

Time Machine

On Saturday we took Ros's grandson Leo and his friend to the Cambridge Centre for Computing History. The boys enjoyed playing all the retro games, and I wallowed in nostalgia. They had the control panel for the IBM 370-138 - which was the computer I used in my first paid job as a programmer back in 1977 as well as one for the Elliot 903 - which may dad sold to iron curtain countries in the 1960s! Pics in extras.

I actually had an Amstrad (as pictured) as my work PC at one time....

A great place for computer nerds. Ros was just bored by the whole thing :-)
