Let The Funtimes Begin

We find ourselves at the holiday venue of choice for our 5 year old. He has been so looking forward to going to Butlins, and was beside himself with worry yesterday when a stomach bug had him being sick. He was really worried he wouldn't be well enough to go. A Lazarus like comeback ensured no such problems.

As we have Steph's parents with us we had our first chance to go out of an evening (they looked after Oliver) as he has usually run himself ragged before the evening really begins.

Well that was an eye opener. Go down to the 'entertainment' to find a chap who I can only describe as a decided camp Boris Johnson in a sequin outfit singing (of a fashion), followed by a Katy Perry impostor.

I co-opted one of the ever cheerful red coats in to be my model for this shot, under the lights of the stage she does seem to have a somewhat blue hue, not her natural colour. All credit to them, those boys and girls work hard to keep us entertained.
