Bramblings
This afternoon I went to Reigate with friends to look for flocks of Bramblings we had heard about. I had never seen one of these little birds before. They are similar to a chaffinch, and move around in huge flocks. We stood around for ages on the edge of a very muddy privately owned field. Eventually we spotted them as they rose up periodically in murmurations. Sadly the light was awful and they were very far away, lovely to watch but not easy to photograph. I managed to catch just a few on camera - not the greatest photo but you can get the idea!
