Broken gate part

This is a part of the gate of our front yard fence. I do not know what it is called in english, and neither what this is called in finnish, actually :)

Anyway I should fix it maybe, because I can not use the gate if this is loosen. The wind moved the gate towards this and it got broken. Some screw needed I guess, but I am not quite sure what kind...

Hubby is still in China, making Olympics in finnish broadcasting team, and it will take a couple of weeks before he comes back. So maybe I should fix this myself. It is actually very normal, that something breaks up when he is away.

I wonder if I just have to take several different kind of screws and try which one is suitable?
