The Bottle.

I have decided to do a full blown AV show of the empty gin bottle so I took some more pictures of it.

I also took a couple of pictures of the box I finished today - made out of a couple of bits that had found their way into the bin (I hate wasting it).
It and one of my favourite spinning tops (it goes for ages) spinning in what was made as an ashtray (made from a bit of Larch (bark left on) from a neighbour's garden, an off cut of a bit of Yew and the reflecting dish from a defunct light (did I say I hate chucking stuff out) are in the extras.
I made the 'ashtray' after being incensed at a woman buying a lovely Burr Elm dish from me (Burr Elm is getting very hard to get) and then telling me she was going to give it to her husband as an ashtray. I did point out that would and burning embers didn't go well together and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off.

Whilst I was making the box (before lunch) SWMBO took herself off to bed and I haven't seen her since. I suspect there is a weather front on its way in.
