Adding up as we go along: a first

A day in Oban courtesy of friend A, she was heading over and we tagged along, quite fortuitous really, we had planned to go later in the week to top up the food cupboards in readiness for visitors. We had a very good day, the weather was kind and chat as always was good meeting folk we knew and some, along with their dogs, we didn’t know. All good stuff.

Anyway! When in Tesco’s I decided to give ‘the adding up as you go along’ a try The initial info was limited, fair enough I doubt we had a need for more at that stage. Great fun shopping, with John or me popping things into the trolly, ooops, ‘remember to zap it’. At the end the guy in my bf did a quick check of our shopping, all was well only next time we can put it straight into bags. In the photo he is unclipping the security tag on the whiskey.

A rolling ferry journey home, at least it sailed, apparently there was some doubt.
