Walking in Sherdley Park, St Helens

Noticed this plaque only because I was having a closer look at the winter cherry (see extra photo).
Had to follow Terry to the garage today as he was taking his car in because it keep misfiring so I followed to take him to work after he dropped it off.
Otherwise, usual exciting day of pegging out washing, walking and a bit of cleaning.
He phoned me to let me know the problem,  the cost and the car having to stay in overnight. Picked him up from work later this afternoon.
Had a chat on the phone to my daughter this evening.
