My first

This was my first encounter with a black bear when out for a walk along a river. After a quick chat we came to an agreement that he goes one way and I'll go the other way. The only problem was he chose the direction I had parked the car so I had to follow him at a safe distance.

So although not the best photo of a bear it does hold a lot of meaning for me - he was the first of many.
