Ring Ouzel

Nice to be able to report that some of the delayed migrant birds are starting to arrive in the Dark Peak.

This morning in a field with many new born lambs - some only minutes old I spotted two Wheatear - unfortunately they spotted me first so the only in focus shot I got was a rear view. It would still have been my blip but the late afternoon brought success in the hunt for Ring Ouzels.

It's not a great shot but it is a great bird.
