West Coast

We took all the things we brought from the attic to the recycling bank or the charity shops and then took the dogs down to the coast for a walk.
This was the scene as we arrived at the beach and by the middle of the walk it was foggy and drizzling. It was jolly cold even in the sunshine!

We then went to Buy Mrs BR a new Guernsey sweater. She chose one with a zip. She has an old one which needed replacement. It was interesting to go to the shop and see them being made. There was a team of local ladies finishing them off by hand. As in everything there is a shortage of staff and so they are working to full capacity. Many of the jumpers are now exported. They have become very popular in Japan apparently. They are very warm and when we lived in Scotland we wore them all the time.
