Unfurling

This specimen of monstera delisiosa was salvaged two years ago from a pile of dumped green waste .
I collected a small piece of root at the time and planted it in this pot.
I love the emerging new growth of each ‘Swiss cheese’ leaf.
The time lapse between the tightly curled new growth to the big reveal is staggeringly quick, it virtually happens overnight.
