Exceedingly good

I made a parsnip madeira cake. It was surprisingly delectable and it didn't taste of parsnip.


Recipe should any else be tempted. I did make a few alterations: half marge/half butter, unbleached flour, rapadura sugar.

(You don't have to balance a root on top, it was just for decoration.)
