2022 Tuesday — Sunset

This was a bright bright day. The mild fog that appeared yesterday disappeared with the wind of last night. Today the house was crazy warm even with windows open and the ceiling fans rotating. We have summer every winter here on California’s Central Coast, and we often have very cool, cloudy summers in June, July, and August.

This was a lovely “do nothing day” that we enjoyed thoroughly; but it was obvious that Chloe and Mitzi were checking their wrist-watches just before sunset. They knew we had not gone for a walk. That’s unusual and I’m sure the pups were disappointed.

Slightly after 5:00 as the sun was going down, Mr. Fun got the barbecue started. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner with asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and baked potato.
