Rather soggy aconites

A bitterly cold day with sunshine and showers.

Badminton and then L and I headed out to the West End to have lunch and a catch-up with our niece who is just recovering from her second eye surgery and hopes to get back to nursing by the end of February. She has to have a series of injections into her eye over the next eighteen months ….. she’s not looking forward to those.

This little clump of aconites is growing beside my snowdrops in the rockery.
