Designing

One of the jobs for today was to design our garden for The Eco Schools pallet garden competition.  In Scotland this it is the 'Year of Stories', and this is the theme for the children's gardens.  The children wanted a wee garden which was about the famous 'Stick Man' book-and what a lot of storied they told while they were drawing.  I am glad to see that stick man has a good veggie patch.  If we are successful we will be asked to build the garden to go further in the competition, if we are not selected we will build it anyway!
Today also included cycling, bird watching and a litter pick with small people.
More Japanese cooking tonight, but not so successful today.
