Hi - I'm back.
I've been away from Blipfoto for a number of years, and, having just watched a YouTube video about photo inspiration, I realised I miss the challenge of finding something new or a new perspective. I need to get something to provide some photographic direction, and, no pun intended, something to focus on.
Much water under the bridge over the intervening years. Additionally, we've all had the common challenges of the pandemic. That has had a big impact on many of us I'm sure.
Any way - time to move on.
After a move to mirrorless just over twelve months ago, I got around to replacing my 'holiday' lens that wouldn't work on my R5. So, I sold a load of unused gear and bought an RF 24-240mm lens. This is one of the handful of photos I did shortly after attaching it to the camera. Being critical, the depth of field is too short. The focus isn't on the dogs eyes - I didn't have eye-autofocus on. Doh. But, it's a lovely candid shot of one of the local dogs I used to meet regularly. Sadly, we lost our dog in July last year. She was one day short of 16 years old. I miss the several walks a day we used to take.
More recent images to follow to try and get me up to date.
