Shadows

The sun rose into a beautiful blue sky this morning and threw shadows in various places about the house.
Shadows follow us throughout our lives but we don't stop often enough to think about them.
Today marks the 4th anniversary of the passing of my father just short of his 95th year. The shadows of his life and of the impact for good which was his, live on in his children. Happy shadows, not dark and scowling ones like a thundercloud. Every time I think of him, which is almost daily, my life is once again enriched. Happiness and peace in the memory of his shadow.
