Hellebore
I had another good walk with Xena in the woods this morning, I felt a bit sad that this is the last walk with her for 11 days. She will wonder where I am! When I got home I filled up all the bird feeders in the garden and I noticed how lovely the hellebores are looking so took some photos of them (again).
Tomorrow morning it is a very early start - I want to wash and dry my hair before I go to the airport so I need to get up even earlier. Gavin has offered to take me to the airport so we plan to leave home at 5.30am. He will then come home, pack the car and is then heading off to Norfolk with Xena for the weekend.
There are eight of us in the photography group, and I know three other people - my friend being one of them, and two other people I have previously done workshops with. Tomorrow will be a very long day, after we arrive in Reykjavik, we have about a 5 hour car journey to get to our hotel on the south coast. There will be no photography tomorrow so my blip will probably be something boring! We have been told there will be no down time and we don't need to bring laptops as there won't be time to edit images - I am taking my laptop and I hope to edit at least one or two images every day so I can blip something.
So far I have been more anxious than excited about this trip, but I am now all packed, I hope I haven't forgotten something essential (like my camera, haha!) and maybe the excitement will finally kick in tomorrow.
