White on white

This little egret has been hanging around the reserve for the last month or so - a first!  Actually, I rather hope there are two so they can breed.  You have seen several egret blips from me over the years, but I think it's the first I've taken with the bird up a high tree, standing on one leg!  Funny baby..

For the rest, I saw all the small bird usual suspects, but no sparrowhawks.  And goodness, I do wish the deer would come back..

I think I'll go to bed very early tonight - I need a long sleep aaaaargh!
