Ordsall Manor

We ended our little mini break with a visit to this beautiful little Manor House which is just 5 minutes by car from N’s flat in the centre of Manchester! Built in the 14th Century it has survived through several families and incarnations to be a wonderful little exhibit now. It’s thought that this design of the flower shape was the inspiration for all the Tudor designs which followed.
