School mates

I was on the rota this morning for choosing the newspaper articles for the next issue of the Talking Newspaper. It was difficult this morning to find enough material because there was so many reports from council meetings and not many interesting stories. My partner today was a new “editor” and we were delighted to discover that we went to the same school. We were there at the same time, but in different years and didn’t remember each other. It was a long time ago! We had a good time remembering. We agreed that Mrs Joyes was the best teacher.
I started to do a bit of gardening this afternoon, but didn’t stay out there too long, there was a chilly wind. Indoors, the carnations have come out.
