Making marmalade

This morning I went to my art group and made a start on a new watercolour then did a bit of shopping in the supermarket where my car was parked.

This afternoon I started making marmalade which is still bubbling away now.

Last week a neighbour that I've known from the vilage and from U3A died.  I found out last night that his funeral will be on the same afternoon as my musical friend Alan.  I'll go to Alan's but It's such a shame as I would have liked to have gone to both but can't get from here to Wrexham in the short window between the two funerals.
