Indian Summer
Another sunny day - a real Indian Summer.
The buglets are mightily confused - the native bees should have disappeared long ago, but they are still out foraging, the birds are struggling to find water, and the level in the Lake at the park is diminishing daily.
But it really is so enjoyable - the temperatures are lovely and cool at night, and it's not really all that HOT, if you know what I mean.
So, what do you think of this image? The Japanese anemones were simply glowing in the sun late this afternoon, but when I looked at just a portion of the flower, it looked so spectacular. So it's cropped in, but not all that much. And that's it.
I do suggest you look at this just a tad closer, to see all the detail.
