Cocktail #12 of 50: Champs-Elysees

1.5 measure Cognac
0.5 Yellow Chartreuse (I bought a miniature for this but it’s quite nice)
0.75 measure of lemon juice
0.5 sugar syrup (accidentally forgot to add this)
2 dashes angostura’s bitter
Vigorous shaking over ice!

We rate this one 5/10.

Our walls have been injected; cupboards have been cut out; rotten wood has been removed; walls have been chipped back to their startling timber and very old brick innards and then rapidly re hidden in a mysterious substance that will hopefully stop the damp. New bits of the wall have been found that make the damp meter turn red; more walls than budgeted have been chipped back and generally the chaos is underway and it will be a while before we’re back in the living room!

But, like Boris, we will survive ;-)

Definitely need this cocktail!
