A light dusting of snow...

...fell during the night. It was such a small amount that normally I wouldn't  even bother to shovel, but Mae was bouncing off the walls inside the house and needed to get outside for some exercise. On her lunch break I suggested we go out and shovel the driveway, & she was all for it. In fact, we finished it so quickly--& she wasn't ready to stop--that she did our next door neighbors' sidewalk too. She still didn't want to go inside, so we threw snow at each other as we chased  around the yard......needless to say, I tired out before she did--no surprise there--and I had to bribe her with the promise of popcorn to get her to come back into the house. I think I'll sleep well tonight.  :)
