Peupliers View

Looking down the Rue des Peupliers from our 5th floor apartment this afternoon. Our local 57 Bus is turning into its local stop, from the Place Abbe Georges Henocque.   There are extensive excavations along the street for work being done--I'll try to ask just what, if I get a chance ;)

It's cloudy and gray although there's no rain.  We're back from a visit to our local Carrefour Market having returned with a big load of groceries for our stay here.  We have a very practical two wheeled shopping cart which holds everything and makes transport easy.  Otherwise it was a lazy day; we are still recovering from jet lag.
