God of Trash

had a great days scuba diving at the reef off the world famous Menjangan island. took lots of badly lit low resolution images of fish as coral that served to convince me to update our current underwater camera.
while the kids snorkeled with our dive guys me and the mrs went for a wander on the holy island, carefully kitted out in sarongs so as not to offend the gods. I wonder how the gods feel about the piles of trash dropped by visiting Balinese worshippers....
These sacred deer seemed to be quite at home rooting through the rotting garbage, soda cans, plastic bags and washing up tubs.
