Warm tootsies!

Package arrived from Chain Reaction cycles this morning with my new measures for guarding my extremities against frostbite. Cannot wait until this Saturday to try them out. Last Saturday afternoon I went through my whole back catalogue of Cycling Active and Cycling Plus magazines to find reviews of winter overshoes and winter gloves and both these came out with top marks. I knew that there was a reason for keeping all those magazines. I knew that I wouldn't be able to get to a shop to try them out and I also knew that there was no way I was going to go through that cold again so took a calculated risk to order online. The gloves fit perfectly so hoping that the overshoes will too.

I do love a magazine and my compulsive nature means that anytime I get into something new then I must gather as much knowledge about that subject as I possibly can. Some may say that I have an obsessive personality. Dotted about the house I have magazines about guitars, drums, bikes, cooking and running stretching back for years. Some may say that I have an obsessive personality, and you know what.......they are probably right!
