Two Virgin airline promo people brought doughnuts to the Scotsman office today while telling us about new flights. Dig that funky sporran! I'm not sure why doughnuts, I suppose they've noticed sister paper the Edinburgh Evening News' weird obsession with a certain overpriced, average-tasting brand.

Don't they look lovely? They were charming.
