The world turned upside down

I recently got this lensball in a charity shop.  This is my first go with it - it’s sitting on my bathroom windowsill.  I need to practice with it - and probably the proper camera is needed to get a good focus.
I feel my world is upside down today, as two very dear friends are at the end stage of cancer.  One I knew about for years, the other it’s only been discovered this week.  It’s quite difficult to talk about dying with someone who actually is - but I’m doing my best to be a good friend.  They’re both younger than me.
