A little ‘light’ entertainment ...

Top picture is a lamp which has stood in the corner since I came to this house more than 33 years ago.
Husband always bought to last. It was a very expensive lamp but after 33 years I think I can safely say he had his money’s worth out of it.
I thought it was overdue a makeover as although the outer cover didn’t look too bad, the inside had perished.
The lower picture is an updated lampshade ( Amazon lampshade kit and a piece of fabric bought as a remnant a few years ago) and I’ve even made a new macrame pull cord. I don’t expect it to last as long.
