Snowdrops In The Churchyard

While Tess was enjoying her Friday Keep Fit class at West Pennard this morning, I went for a walk around the village.

The village church of St Nicholas sits at the top of a long, sloping cul de sac of attractive houses, old and new, with the tiny village school alongside. It was very peaceful and picturesque in the crisp morning sun.

I got back to the car in time to spend 30 minutes in the company of Billy Connolly, or at least his autobiography which I started reading last night. He makes for an entertaining companion.

Off to my sister and brother in law’s for a meal tonight.
