Birthday boy

It is my husband’s birthday today so I thought I would blip part of a painting of him created by a friend when he retired a few years ago.  She put him in a garden setting with a set of secateurs in his top pocket, as he enjoys gardening.  

I cooked a chicken casserole for lunch and we have birthday cake for teatime.  His brother rang to wish him a happy birthday and told him he has Covid.  As his brother has a serious underlying health condition he got anti-virals from hospital when he became wheezy.  Hopefully he will be fine because of that.  

It was warm in the conservatory this afternoon because of the sun, so we sat in there for a while for the first time this year.
