Vibrant colours..

in today’s sunshine. Walking was undertaken with care as yesterday’s slush had frozen hard , following overnight temperatures of -10°. Despite the sun which shone all day the temperature didn’t rise above 2°. Many minor roads were impassable being icebound. Hence this walk where it was possible to avoid tracks and walk on heather.
