On thin ice ....

It has been *very* cold here today - cold enough for the Cuilc to start freesing over.

We both enjoyed Scottish Opera at Birnam last night. We were just expecting the performers to be simply singing a series of songs from different operas but they performed as characters with a narrative thread woven through which worked really well.   It was also good to be so close to the singers.

Today has been quite - Tom made a day trip to Edinburgh and I caught up with u3a admin and family treeing. 

We will continue watching Reacher tonight - based on the Lee Child books and well done. Good escapism after having watched some slightly more demanding series recently including Seven Seconds (corrupt NJ police) and Stranger (corrupt South Korean police & prosecutors).
