Malayan Spout

Beautiful day. Given the forecast for the weekend we wanted to take advantage of the sunshine. It’s a while since we have visited Goathland ( home to Heartbeat). 

We walked past the Malayan Spout Hotel which has suffered a recent fire. Although the waterfall didn’t have a lot of water coming over it there were icicles and colourful vegetation. 

Jet took an unscheduled dip. A bit concerning as he seemed unable to turn back to shore. Eventually he made it back but looking rather bedraggled. However he perked up once we got going back on the path. Phew! He turns 14 this year (a good age for a Labrador). He does well but is not as strong in his back legs these days.
