The Mexican peso notes have been undergoing redesign for some time now. The government started with the high denominations and have worked their way to the bottom. While in Puerto Vallarta last month, I received a new 20 peso bill, the last one I needed for a complete set of old (on the left) and new (on the right). Notice that the 100 peso bill has been reworked twice. During this time, a 20 peso coin has also been created. A future blip perhaps (as well as the backs of all the notes).
