One of Ralph's current projects. He tells me that it is a 1952 Ford Prefect Coupe Ute that he bought last summer from a seller in Australia.  Apparently it was originally sent there in kit form and assembled with a locally made rear body. The engine does run - I heard it - but there's certainly a lot of work to be done. The end goal of course is complete restoration - watch this space. 

Today was brilliantly sunny, one of those days England does so well when although the harsh sunlight blinds you, the temperatures are still fiercely cold enough to numb your fingers and toes. 

The journey home to Chelmsford after lunch was easy and clear, though the traffic was constant. I had just one online student and bro came for dinner, bringing us both a tasty meal from the local chippy.
