A Little Bit of Winter

A bit snowy this morning, it looks a bit wet, so may not last the day. Sleet showers throughout the morning mean the cats show little inclination to go outside. In the occasional sunny spells one of them ventures outside, only to dash inside with the next onset of cold wet stuff, followed by furious licking themselves dry.

I venture outside just as one shower passes by, then it is sunny. There are just a few patches of snow left like this one in the park. It is quite hazy over the Pentland Hills. I when I return to the park, most of the snow has melted.

A quiet after work bike ride. It is very clear and the breeze has dropped. I manage a cold 32.8km (just over 20miles). Everything is going to freeze tonight.
