Proud Granny Evening

I have heard it said that one gets more pleasure out of one's grandchildren than children.  Not entirely convinced, but there is definitely huge pleasure gained from seeing successes in grandchildren.

I have spent a delightful evening watching a production of 'Shrek, the Musical', performed by a talented cast  including my eldest grandson at his senior school. From the enjoyment point of view it would be rated equally with any West End performance. My grandson is more likely to gain fame from winning the Nobel prize for science than any bafta award,  but he added to the acting pool at his school and was always with the beat and throwing himself into the performance.  So, A VERY PROUD Granny evening!
