Eucalyptus

You bet they did. This is about as exciting as it gets around our way. Some tree chopping men came around to my neighbour's house today to remove a eucalyptus tree that had grown way too large. Should you be tempted to plant this rapid growing tree, I'd urge you to think again. Fine in Australia but not ideal for Surrey. They managed to drop a branch on one of my box privet specimens, shattering the plant pot. No worries, just a bit of collateral damage. Still feeling yucky but might venture up to London later to a book launch, just in case there are any footloose agents wandering about. Unlikely.
